how to look after your crystal-embellished items
Caring for your Crystal Products
Fabric Related Products
Please do not machine wash your fabric products or wash them in hot water. Please turn washable items inside out and place them into a washbag. Gentle handwash only at 30 degrees (lukewarm) with a minimal amount of washing liquid/powder as really soapy water can weaken the glue-free from the crystals over time. It is better to avoid immersing the crystals in the water at every wash but with some items, this cannot be avoided.
Please do not leave to soak, scrub or rub the crystals.
Miscellaneous Products
To keep your crystals looking sharp with that high sparkle try not to keep touching them or spill any food/drink on them.
To prevent loss or lift of your crystals, please take extra care not to brush/rub them against any solid or rough textured items.
Despite them being secure they are still delicate flat-backed crystal and do need to be handled with respect.
Crystals stay fast and with care do not come away. However, nothing is infallible, so in the very unfortunate event a stone/stones do become dislodged or have come away completely use the quick fix repair sheet that we sent to you. You don’t need special equipment to make these repairs… so no need to panic.
Polishing
Occasionally, you may have to buff up your crystals. To do this you can get a very soft (jewellery cloth type) and dampen it with lukewarm water. Gently wipe over the crystals as this will bring back the sparkle if lots of finger marks have temporarily clouded them.
